What's in a Check'n'Wash?
Staying cool and saving money is EASY with Morris-Jenkins! When you schedule a Check’n’Wash, we’ll check your freon, do a visual check of your cooling system, and wash your outside coils.
Over time, your outdoor unit gets covered in dirt and debris. This makes it harder for it to breathe, which means it’s working harder to keep your home cool. Not only does that wear out your system faster, but it costs you money on your utility bills. When we clean it and inspect it, we’re making sure it’s breathing better so it runs right!
What's in a Safety Check?
During a heat safety check with Morris-Jenkins, we’ll:
- Inspect high voltage wires that could be fire risks
- Test for carbon monoxide in the home
- Conduct a visual inspection of the heating system for anything that could lead to a gas leak or fire
- Test all safety switches
- Clean the system so dust and debris don’t cause a fire
- Look for any animals like mice that could have moved into your ductwork or equipment, causing damage
- Check your carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. If you have batteries on hand, we’ll go ahead and change those out too.
Furnaces come with some risks, but as long as you keep up with regular maintenance, your home and family can stay safe!
