Everyone knows Morris-Jenkins LOVES Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH)! Every year, we come together as a team to raise money for the children’s hospital (and have some fun at the same time!). In 2024, our big fundraising focus was the rooftop playground at LCH. The old one was getting pretty run down and needed some love. Hospital stays are scary, especially for kids. The rooftop playground is a place where the kids receiving treatment can get some fresh air, play, and just feel like kids again! That’s why we decided to make renovating that playground our priority.
Golf Tournament
In 2023, we started a new annual tradition: A golf tournament to raise money for LCH! 2024 marked our second annual golf tournament, and it was a hit. Employees, friends, family, and even some of our vendors came out to play golf and compete in fun challenges. We had prizes for things like longest putt, closest to the pin, 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and more. Not only that, but we had raffles for all kinds of prizes. By the end of the tournament, we had raised $46,000 through the golf tournament alone!
Raffles
For years, we’ve held raffles for our employees. We receive donated prizes, and our employees can buy raffle tickets for one dollar each. These raffles come up a few times a year, and we’ve given away things like gaming systems, TVs, gift cards, camping gear, computers, and more! Throughout the year, we raised over $14,700 in employee raffles.
Not only did our employees have fun with raffles, but we had one for our Priority Advantage® Members, too! We raffled off a tankless water heater (and we installed it in the winner’s home for free). Tickets were $5 each, and all the money went to Levine’s.
Payroll Deductions
Did you know a lot of Morris-Jenkins employees donate part of every paycheck to Levine Children’s Hospital? Payroll deductions are an easy way for our employees to be consistent with their giving, and every dollar adds up by the end of the year. In 2024, our payroll deductions for LCH alone raised $46,915 for the rooftop playground!
IT Sales
When our IT department has old equipment we no longer need, they wipe the data and sell the used equipment (computers, phones, and tablets) at a reduced cost, with all the proceeds going to Levine Children’s Hospital. It’s a great way to reduce our electronic waste and raise more money for the kids! We made over $1,300 through these IT sales in 2024.
Poker Nights
We hosted a poker night for Morris-Jenkins employees, where they could compete to split the pot of money and even win some great prizes that had been donated to us. Even some employees who were new to poker came out to play, and everyone had a great time! We raised over $6,000 at poker night.
Morris-Jenkins Store
Everyone loves Morris-Jenkins merch—especially Morris-Jenkins employees! To raise even more money for LCH, we have a Morris-Jenkins store that employees can buy from. It has things like blankets, cups, Mr. Jenkins bobbleheads, socks, and more! And all the profit goes to Levine Children’s Hospital. It’s a great way for us to earn a little extra money for our big annual donation!

Levine Children’s Hospital is full of superheroes! A lot of employees right here at Morris-Jenkins have experienced how amazing the staff is at LCH when they’ve had to get treatment for their own kids. We know firsthand how lucky we are to have such an incredible children’s hospital right here in our backyard!
In 2024, we raised over $121,000 for the children’s hospital to help rebuild their rooftop playground. We can’t wait to see how much we can help them next!
