Mr. Jenkins told me to do things the right way, not the easy way. And that applies to our electrical department, too! When you call us out for an electrical safety inspection, we’re thorough. Your Morris-Jenkins electrician will carefully inspect a LOT in your home, so nothing goes unchecked. We’ll:
- Inspect your main electrical panel
- Conduct a thermal check with an infrared camera
- Verify proper grounding and bonding
- Check outdoor GFCIs
- Test outdoor fixtures and visually check them
- Conduct a visual and thermal check of subpanels
- Check outlet, receptacle, and switch installations
- Verify GFCI protection
- Check for whole home surge protection (if you’ve got it, we’ll make sure it’s working right, too!)
- Examine visible wires in attics, basements, and crawl spaces
It’s a lot to process, we get that! It’s hard to imagine how much is involved in your home’s electrical system when most of it is behind walls and can’t be seen. Our electricians are passionate about this kind of thing, and they don’t like to leave any stone unturned! After all, poor connections, damage, or other electrical problems can lead to power outages, electrical shock, and even fire.
