The first question that many people ask when they hear about our tune-ups is whether or not their system needs one. EVERY air conditioner should have maintenance! Not only does it check to make sure things are looking healthy, but it helps your system run more efficiently (which means it’ll cool better and live longer!). But what’s the worst that can happen if you skip annual AC maintenance? It might not end in disaster, but both you and your AC will be worse off for not staying up to date.
It might help to think about it on a smaller scale. Picture this: you’ve got a vacuum cleaner that works great. But what happens if it gets clogged with dirt and dust, or hair wraps around the brush roll? Will it keep working well if an important part falls off or gets loose? Even the best vacuum on the market isn’t gonna do a good job of picking up crumbs if something’s a little off.
It’s the same with your AC. Dirt, dust, and leaves collected during the year are gonna make it less efficient. And a loose part can eventually cause bigger problems. You can probably do a little DIY maintenance on your vacuum, but an AC is a different story. You need someone like us to come and take a look at it once a year.

If you want something a little more detailed and hands-on, you can take a look at our System Renovation. It’s only $129, and it comes with everything that’s in the Check’n’Wash. But we’re gonna take a closer look at your AC with more manual checks. Then we’ll do some more deep cleaning to get your AC working like it did the day it was installed.
