When Does Your Sewer Line Need to Be Repaired?
It can be hard to know what’s going on underground. You have to rely on little hints that you can see (or smell) from above ground. Morris-Jenkins is around any time you notice any of these signs:
If you have sewer line damage, you might be wondering what has caused it in the first place. After all, the more you know about it, the more you might be able to protect your pipes from more damage. Clogs
You might have food or grease clogging up your sewer line. When this happens, it could cause a few other problems like leaks or backups. If you wanna keep these problems away, you can think about having your pipes cleaned out every once in a while. We offer hydro-jetting and $77 drain cabling. Tree Roots
You can’t help it when a plant near your yard decides to try to get its water from your pipes. But this can be pretty destructive. If there are any cracks at all, roots can find their way in. Pretty soon, you’ll have clogged pipes, leaks, and a big headache. Before your headache gets any worse, you can call us to come and solve your tree root problem with sewer line repairs.
Harsh Drain Cleaning Products
Most of the drain cleaning products you see advertised on TV or online are not good choices for your plumbing. Sure, they can sometimes get rid of clogs. But the same chemical reaction that eats away this morning’s cold oatmeal will also eat away at your pipes. If you have damage from chemical drain cleaners, we can do repairs.
Old Age
Sometimes there’s no way around it, your pipes might just be old! We’re happy to fix any sections that need extra help, but if your whole sewer line is old and corroded, we might suggest a repiping job.
