When you get a new AC installed, you want it to last for years. Not only that, but you also want it to actually keep you cool all summer long without breakdowns. This doesn’t seem like too much to ask! Isn’t that the job of an AC? But lots of people find themselves owning air conditioners that just don’t work that well. And they end up having to replace them after a few years of half-hearted cooling.
We’re here to tell you the problem might be with the AC installation itself. When something’s not installed right, it can start having problems really early in its life. When we’re looking at a system like that, we can usually trace it straight back to a lazy installation. That’s why at Morris-Jenkins, we’re changing things around for Marvin families. When you hear that your AC has broken down, one of your first questions is gonna be whether it has to be replaced or whether you can repair it. Of course, if it can start cooling your house again with just a quick repair, that’s the obvious choice. But sometimes, it’s a little trickier. If one of the major parts of your AC has broken down, you’re gonna be looking at some expensive repairs.
Usually, installations are a good idea when the old AC is more than 10 years old. We can’t tell the future, but we know that having an older air conditioner probably means you’re gonna be calling us a lot more often for repairs. A repair that’s gonna cost more than 50% of the price of a new furnace is probably not worth the money unless you’re really attached to your AC. Just call us in and we’ll tell you what we think.
When you’re ready for an installation, we’re gonna make it as easy on you as we can. We’ll start by doing a free in-home estimate to figure out what kind of AC you need. Just like Goldilocks, you don’t want an air conditioner that’s too big or too small- you want one that’s juuuust right! Once you choose a new system, hand the reins over to us and we’ll do the rest.

When it comes to the installation, you won’t have to lift a finger. You can even grab some snacks, sit on your porch, put your feet up, and take a nap, we don’t mind! We’ll take care of everything for you. We’ll even clean up our mess when we’re done. That way, all you have to do is switch on your new AC and enjoy the cold air.
