We don’t charge to tell you how much we’re going to charge.
No sticker shock here. You’ll always know what you’re going to pay before the installation begins.
From top to bottom. What can we say? We take after Mr. Jenkins himself.
We’re not gonna try to convince you that tankless water heaters are the right choice for every single home. That’s because it’s not true. In some situations, you’ll be better off sticking to a traditional water heater. But there are lots of other times that we’ll recommend a tankless water heater because, in a lot of ways, they’re better.
Tanked Water Heaters
A tanked water heater is any water heater that has a tank for heating and storing hot water. They come in gas, electric, and oil models and they can do a great job at heating your water. They’re easy to install, especially if you’re just replacing an old one, and they come with a smaller price tag. The downsides are that they take up a lot of space and use a lot of energy. Even the most energy-efficient models can’t compete with a tankless water heater. Not only that, but they have a limited amount of hot water they can provide at a time.
Tankless Water Heaters
Tankless water heaters can cost a little more at first, but as soon as they’re installed, all of that changes. You’ll be saving more than 30% on your energy bills. That’s because it heats your water on-demand, meaning it only uses energy when you have the hot water tap on. They can last more than twice as long as a tanked system. You won’t have to worry about replacing it for 20 years or more, as long as you take care of it. They can also provide unlimited hot water!
If you’re not sure which one is the best for you, we’ll come and do an in-home estimate. That way, you’ll know all the information about both options. We’re not gonna try to upsell you. We’ll talk you through your situation and give you the same advice we’d give to our own family.
One of the first things we do when you need a new water heater is come to your house to take a look at the situation. This is important because we can get a good feel for what kind of work needs to be done in your house to get it ready for your tankless water heater. You’ll get an upfront estimate and we’ll explain the process to you.
When we come for the actual installation, you can expect us to be there for around 5 to 6 hours. That’s usually the time it takes to get the old system out and put the new one in. It can take some time to adjust to your new water heater, so we’ll make sure you feel comfortable using it. We’ll show you how to adjust the temperature and tell you anything you need to know before leaving.
