Until heat pump technology gets so advanced that it can set up repairs for itself any time it’s feeling under the weather, you’re the one that’s gonna have to be responsible for watching for the signs.But that does put a little more on your shoulders. You’re gonna have to be alert and call when something seems amiss. (Wanna take that pressure off? When you become a Priority Advantage Member, we’ll inspect your heat pump twice a year to make sure it’s healthy!)
Don’t worry, the signs are usually pretty hard to miss. You’re gonna notice if your energy bill suddenly spikes or your house isn’t getting as warm as usual. It’s also hard to miss if your heat pump starts sounding like a middle school marching band, with squeaks, rattling, or banging sounds that keep you awake at night. The bottom line is, if something changes, give us a call!
When you’re taking care of your heat pump, you’re gonna be able to keep breakdowns from happening a lot of the time. You’ll even be able to put some repairs on the schedule before they cause problems. But you can’t always see them coming. Make us part of your plan for what to do when unexpected breakdowns try to get you down!
