At Morris-Jenkins, we offer a couple of different tune-up services which can get a little confusing if you don’t know all the lingo. Hopefully, we can make that clear for you so you know what’s best for your family. If you’re new to furnace maintenance, you can always start with our basic Safety Check. It’s only $89 and is similar to a check-up with your doctor. By the end of the appointment, we’ll know if there’s anything wearing out that could use some extra attention. If everything looks good, you’ll get the thumbs up from us.
If you’d like a little more than just the basic check, you can take a look at our System Renovation. $129 will get you the Safety Check and some extra cleaning and adjustments. We’ll make sure your unit is sparkling clean and we’ll take some readings of things to make sure your furnace is ready for whatever winter throws your way.
Our favorite option is our Priority Advantage Membership. As part of the family, you’ll be able to sign onto our web portal and get everything done from there. You’ll get everything that’s in our other two packages, but we add discounts for repairs and diagnostics. Starting at only $19.99 per month, you’ll also get bi-annual maintenance for your HVAC system to keep it happy and healthy all year long!
Let’s put it this way: if you don’t take care of your furnace, it’s not gonna blow up. But it might stop working, and probably when it’s the least convenient time to need repairs. You can give yourself a little more control by having it looked at every once in a while. Unless you don’t mind spending the extra cash to have it fixed more often, preventing breakdowns is the way to go. In fact, tune-ups are what we choose for our own furnaces.
Annual heating service comes with other perks, too. When everything is working right inside your furnace, it’ll be a lot more efficient. Especially if you’ve got a newer model. The best units can be up to 99% efficient if they’re maintained. When you see your energy bills creep down, it’ll make you glad you spent a little extra to get your furnace running smoothly.
