If you’ve got backed up drains that are causing sewage to end up in your tub, you can bet you’ll be on the phone faster than you can say “gross.” But what if you’re just noticing your sinks draining a little slower? Or what if there’s a pesky smell in your house that just won’t go away? Chances are, those problems aren’t gonna fix themselves. In fact, they’re only gonna get worse, and you could end up with a much bigger problem if you ignore it.

There’s usually one person in the house who can get the toilet to flush with a plunger, even when there’s a bad clog. But when there’s a clog deep down in your plumbing, or you’ve got grease that’s clinging to the inside of your pipes and causing things to slow down, you’re not gonna be able to fix the problem with a plunger.
You’re also not gonna have any luck with liquid drain cleaner from the hardware store. That stuff looks flashy until you pour a gallon of it down the drain and nothing happens. Or it works at the time, but you get clogs again a few weeks later. Plus, it can damage your pipes. For most clogs, you’re gonna wanna call a plumber.
We’ll use one of two methods to get the clog and gunk out of your pipes. For food clogs and small roots, we might use drain cabling. Drain cabling is just a handheld or motorized snake (also known as an auger or a rooter) that’s a lot more powerful than the ones you can buy from the hardware store. It can eat away at clogs without hurting your pipes. Our second method is hydro jetting. We can blast away pesky clogs, yucky sludge, and sneaky tree roots in minutes. Your pipes will be as clean as the day you had them installed.
There’s nothing like having clear drains, but there’s a lot that needs to happen first. We know your experience before we even show up on your doorstep is just as important. At Morris-Jenkins, it’s easy to schedule the appointment time you need. If you’re busy during the day, that’s no problem for us. We’re always open til midnight. If the drains get clogged on a weekend, no problem! We won’t charge extra for evenings or weekends.
