Maybe you already have a garbage disposal but it seems like it’s not working well anymore. We’d love to help you decide if you should get a new one. We’ve seen a lot of broken garbage disposals. We’ve got a good feel for which ones have a few more years in them and which don’t. We think of you as family, so we’re not gonna recommend something you don’t need.
If your disposal has a leak somewhere in the unit itself, that can be a straightforward decision. Unless the leak is just in the connection between the disposal and your pipes, it can’t be fixed. A new disposal will get you up and running a lot faster.
Other reasons to replace your garbage disposal are: a unit that won’t turn on, frequent clogs, and weak power. Maybe you just want something a little bigger to keep up with your growing family. If you’re not sure how to move forward, just ask!
When your garbage disposal breaks down, the first thing we’ll do is come and take a look at it. If you need a new one, we’ll have a replacement on hand so it won’t take much longer to put it in. Our installations usually only take around 1.5 to 2 hours and in most cases we can get it done the same day. We’re open til midnight, even on weekends, so you can get the services you need without changing up your whole schedule.
During every installation, we make sure you’re keeping up with what’s going on. We won’t use a lot of big plumbing words and we’re upfront about the time and price of repairs. You’ll never feel out of the loop when you work with Morris-Jenkins.
If you have more people in your family, you’re gonna want something a little bigger. That probably won’t be true if there’s just one or two of you. We’ll help you choose the right size. If you want us to install something you’ve already picked out, we can do that. But we only offer a labor and parts warranty if you got the garbage disposal from us. (Most garbage disposals come with a manufacturer warranty.)
How to Take Care of Your New Disposal
Once you have your new garbage disposal installed, you don’t wanna have to replace it again in a couple of years. Your garbage disposal should last at least 10 years after we put it in. To keep it in great condition, make sure you don’t put any of these things into the disposal:
