Chlorine Levels
Don’t you just love the smell of pool water? It probably reminds you of lazy summer days or trips to the water park. We don’t wanna burst your bubble, but the smell you’re thinking of is the odor of chlorine mixed with contaminants. Water with a low pH is too acidic and might corrode your pipes a little faster. When it has a high pH, you’ll have problems with scaly build-up, low water pressure, and bitter-tasting water. We can make sure your water is a little more neutral.
After you’ve had your water tested, we’ll give you a report that details all the information you wanted to know about your water. The results can be a little confusing, so we’ll make sure to explain them to you clearly. If you find out that your water has a high or low pH, or it has too much chlorine or lots of minerals, we’ll help you figure out a plan.
For chlorine, the plan is usually to put in a filter that gets all of the chlorine out before it even reaches your taps.
