Become an HVAC Technician
Summers in the Carolinas can get HOT. Everyone here relies on their air conditioners to keep their homes comfortable. And in the winter, people need their furnaces and heat pumps to stay cozy. To keep their heating and cooling systems running year-round, they need HVAC technicians!
HVAC isn’t getting outsourced to machines and AI like other jobs. You’ll have job security! Not only that, but you’ll get to work with your hands every single day, and you’ll be helping people. When families with broken air conditioners have you over to fix things in the middle of summer, you’ll practically be a superhero!
Tech Builder Program
What’s Training Like?
For around twelve weeks, you’ll train with some of the best in the industry! Not only will you spend time learning in a classroom, but you’ll also get to practice what you learn in our state-of-the-art training lab. And to make sure you get some experience in the field before going out on your own calls, you’ll go along with some of our experienced technicians on their calls!
Tech Builder trainees are PAID to learn. You shouldn’t have to worry about how you’ll pay your bills while you’re studying! We want you to invest your time and energy into becoming the best technician you can be.
What Happens After Training?
We’re not gonna lie… Tech Builder isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s a tough program, but if you dedicate yourself and pass the tests along the way, we’ll give you a full-time job as a Morris-Jenkins HVAC technician when you graduate! This comes with a pay raise, too.
Your training doesn’t stop there. All of our techs get ongoing training because you can ALWAYS grow and learn! You’ll also have a strong support system around you at all times.

Build-a-Plumber Program
What’s Training Like?
Build-a-Plumber is about fifteen weeks of intensive and fun training with some of the best plumbers in the trade! We’ll dive deep into everything you’ll need to know while in the classroom, and then you’ll get to use your new knowledge in our plumbing training facility. It’s equipped with sinks, toilets, water heaters, showers, and more—all for you to practice on while you become a plumbing pro! Not only that, but you’ll also go on real calls with some of our best plumbers so you can experience first-hand what to expect in the field.
What Happens After Training?
Build-a-Plumber isn’t easy, but it’s so rewarding! After you pass the tests and we celebrate you at your graduation, we’ll offer you a full-time job as a Morris-Jenkins plumber. And the training doesn’t stop there! All of our plumbers get ongoing training so you can keep growing and learning and becoming the best you can be. And every day, you’ll have a strong support system around you to cheer you on and help you when you need it!
