With a tanked water heater, as soon as you run out of water in the tank, your water is gonna start coming out of the taps cold. But with a tankless water heater, you could have your hot water on all day and never run out. Tankless water heaters also have a lifespan of around 20 years, which is about twice as long as a tanked system. Plus, they’re tiny compared to traditional systems, so you’ll finally be able to use that closet for something else.
As a general rule, we recommend gas tankless water heaters instead of electric models. In fact, we like gas tankless water heaters so much that we don’t even install the electric ones (but we can repair them if you need help!). What’s so great about gas tankless water heaters?
